]]> The Caracalla Dance Theatre’s much anticipated return to the Beiteddine Art Festival is a specially imagined theatrical trilogy of Scheherazade, Bolero and Lebanese Folklore.Leading an internationally renowned creative team, Ivan Caracalla directs this passionate production starring the dancers of the Company in an innovative choreography of Alissar Caracalla. What further highlights this enchanting visual creation is the live orchestra of the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Harout Fazlian, marking the first time in the Middle East that a balletic musical production is performed to a full fledge orchestra. Special appearance of Hoda Haddad, Joseph Azar, Rifaat Torbey and Simon Obeid, among others.

This special photo exhibition sheds the light on the rich collection of the daring frontline photojournalist Göksin Sipahioglu. Sipahioglu founded the Paris-based Sipa press photo agency, and is considered today as one of “the greatest photojournalists ever”.

]]> This production of La Bohème with more than 150 participants which opens the Chorégies d’Orange in France on July 7, will grandly wrap up the Beiteddine Art Festival season. La Bohème has an international cast including, in the role of Mimi, the new star Anita Hartig who is a major artist at the Scala de Milan, as well as Paolo Fanale in the role of Rodolfo. Maestro Jean-Yves Ossonce conducts the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra accompanied by the Ensemble vocal des Chorégies d’Orange and the Children Choir of Lebanon.
